Conversation-Based Pricing (CBP)
Meta charges for WhatsApp conversations based on a 24-hour window. Charges depend on who initiates the conversation and the template category.

2. International Charges
For clients messaging customers outside of India, rates vary significantly by country.
- Action: Agents must check the latest Meta Rate Card before providing international quotes.
- Whitelist Rule: For Gupshup users, international messaging is disabled by default. Raise a ticket to Gupshup to enable specific country codes.
Wallet & Credit Management
Clients must maintain a positive wallet balance to ensure uninterrupted messaging.
- Recharge Path:
Settings > Payments > Pay Now. - Low Balance Alerts: Automatic notifications are sent when the wallet falls below 10% of the monthly average.
- TDS Compliance: If a client makes a payment without TDS but their subscription is marked as expired, pass the proof of payment to the Accounts Team immediately for manual override.
Billing Escalation
If a client requests to pause or downgrade their subscription due to pricing concerns:
- Alert the Brand POC immediately.
- Raise a CAR to Harsh Agrawal to execute the adjustment.
Recent Change Log
